If your account privileges were permanently suspended and you’d like Hayani Designs to review your account for reinstatement, you can file an appeal.

First be sure you thoroughly understand Hayani Designs House Rules. If you’re a seller, make sure you don’t have any listings that violate our Prohibited Items, Handmade Policy, or Intellectual Property Policy.

What happens after I file my appeal?

A specialist will review your appeal and your account history, and reply with a final decision over email. Due to the complex nature of these investigations, it can take up to two weeks to receive a decision.

Please be transparent and forthcoming with any details requested during the appeals process, as it is your final chance to potentially reopen your business on Hayani Designs.

Submitting an appeal doesn’t guarantee reinstatement of your account privileges. The appeal only ensures that a qualified specialist will conduct a review of your account history and information to determine the status of your account.

What happens if my appeal is unsuccessful?

If a specialist determines that your account will remain permanently closed, there will be no further consideration of reinstatement.

Hayani Designs is sending an email with the subject “Heads up: you’ll need to review your shop info soon” to some sellers. In the coming months these sellers will be asked to update and confirm information about their shop, like details on the Legal and tax information page. This only applies to certain sellers depending on where they deliver, their sales volume, and what they sell.

Why did I get this email?

We want you to be on the lookout for an email and alert in your Shop Manager to update and confirm that your Hayani Designs shop information, like your legal and tax information, is complete and correct. This will be an important requirement for many sellers over the next few months. Governments around the world have been passing laws, such as the INFORM Consumers Act in the US and the Digital Services Act in the EU, in addition to new local tax regulations.

These changes require online marketplaces like Hayani Designs to collect and verify more information from sellers in some circumstances. Collecting these details will help us keep the Hayani Designs marketplace, including your shop, compliant with global regulations, as well as help us ensure buyers think of Hayani Designs as a safe and trustworthy place to shop.
